North East Piggy Boarding is an independent company and not part of a group or chain. This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information collected about you and your pets.

 

What information do we collect about you?

We collect and store information about you and your pets when you register with us to use our services by generating a unique data entry in our secure database. Information is not held, nor is a data entry generated if you express interest or contact us for a quote or to ask questions.

Our booking system requires:

  1. Personal information including:
    1. Your full name
    2. Your home address
    3. Your email address
    4. A contact number
  1. Pet information including:
    1. Names, ages, and sex
    2. Previous and current medical conditions
    3. Preferred veterinary practice details (if you have one)

We can not proceed with booking any form of appointment without obtaining these details. Client data is archived when our services have not been used by you for over 36 months, we hold full names and home addresses for 5 years for our financial accounts.

 

How will we use this information?

We use this information to generate bookings, invoices, receipts, boarding consent forms, and in our financial accounts. We also use the information provided to ensure we can meet the needs of your pets and that they meet our boarding requirements.

 

How is this information stored?

All customer information is stored within Google Data Centres; a secure cloud storage system which is GDPR compliant.

 

Is this information shared?

The only organisations your information is shared with are veterinary practices. Should your pet require any medical attention while in our care, we will provide the practice with your information so they can access any medical records necessary.

We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property or safety.

 

Access to your information and correction:

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you at any time. This can be done by emailing us at contact@nepiggyboarding.co.uk and we will provide this information free of charge within 30 days. You have the right to withdraw consent on the information we hold, that is not a legal requirement, at any time, this can be done by emailing us at contact@nepiggyboarding.co.uk.

We want to make sure our records are up to date and correct, you may ask us to correct or remove any of your personal information you think is inaccurate by emailing us at contact@nepiggyboarding.co.uk.

 

Marketing:

We do not sell your information to other parties. We do use the information to contact our clients via email, phone or mail with newsletters, surveys, or updates or changes to our services. You can opt in to this service when you register a booking.
